Michael Pritchard

In the span of two days in 2012, Michael became a father and launched a preteen ministry at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. Life has never slowed down since...

For over nine years, Michael taught hundreds of preteens how to learn and apply God's Word in their families, neighborhoods, and schools. While teaching, he's been known to ride Big Wheels, create on-the-spot hip hop music, and even eat crickets! He firmly believes that fun and creativity are the best ways to teach preteens biblical truth.

In the last several years, Michael has become a writer, speaker, and podcaster. He has written curriculum and devotionals for Bellevue and LifeWay. He has been the speaker at multiple summer camps and events for kids and preteens. Additionally, he has produced and hosted two podcasts, "Diapers to Diplomas: Genuine Parenting Conversations" and "Chicken and Waffles: The Bible Podcast for Preteens."

Right now, Michael is probably laughing at the absurdity of life with his wife, Christy, and throwing the baseball or football with his two boys.
