I love it soooo much!! Pastor Michael does a really good job explaining scripture. He also does a great job when he gives us the main point or main idea he always gives us a lesson that we can relate to and that we can get better at doing. Thank you so much Pastor Michael!!!

My kids and I love Chicken and Waffles! This ministry-in-a-podcast has opened up many avenues of discussion with my kids. We love the relatable examples from his life that Michael (aka “Mr Chicken and Waffles”) shares! He has a great sense of humor and a relatability with the kids that doesn’t feel hokey, forced, or manufactured. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us!

My preteen boys have really loved this podcast! The length is perfect for their attention spans and Pastor Michael does such a great job of sharing the message of scripture on their level. My boys keep asking to listen to another one as soon as we finish one!

My girls and I LOVE this podcast. I have a 11yo and was looking ways to share scripture with her not being sit down cause I have smaller children and it’s hard to give her time just her, and now we all listen to this podcast on our way to school, they beg for it on the days there’s no new episode and we just repeat from the beginning. My kids & I both love this podcast!!! It makes scripture relatable & gives practical ways to apply the stories to their daily life. And it’s just the right amount of time to keep them engaged. We listen on the way to school & it’s the best part of our morning!!

We recently began listening to the podcast “Chicken and Waffles” on our ride to school and my Sixth Grader said it’s one of his favorite parts of the day! Michael brings the truth of God’s Word in such a fun and practical way for tweens. He keeps it grounded in Biblical teaching, while also helping kids understand how to make the lessons practical for their everyday life! I’ve recommended this podcast to numerous moms with tweens because our kids are up against so much in this world, and having fun voice of Truth speaking into them is a blessing to all of us parents! A short, but very practical podcast that we listen to on the road while running errands! Pastor Michael is currently going through the book of Mark and picks a passage of scripture to break down from each chapter. He definitely makes scripture easier to understand and makes it applicable to pre-teens to what they are facing in the world. Excellent and highly recommend!
